MEET THE STAFF
Nell Nichols MA, BCBA, LBA
Nell Nichols went to The Evergreen State College for her BA, and received her MA in Behavior Analysis at The Florida Institute of Technology. She specializes in working with children to young adults diagnosed with ASD. She uses kind and compassionate care and believes the core of ABA for individuals with ASD is to develop their skills to self-advocacy and to communicate their needs effectively, to explore meaningful relationships with others, and set the groundwork for her clients to live their best lives on their terms. Nell is team based, solution oriented, and it is a priority that her clients and families feel supported.
On her off time, Nell likes to craft, do home restoration, and explore the nature around the Sound with her husband and daughter.
Ashley Carter M. Ed, BCBA, LBA
Ashley Carter received her B.S. in Family and Human Development, as well as, her M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction-Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. She specializes in working with young children through adulthood diagnosed with ASD. Ashley believes that Autism is not a disability, but a uniqueness to be appreciated and embraced. She uses compassionate care and trauma-assumed care as the guiding forces to her treatment with her clients. She believes that everyone should have a voice and strives to give that to her clients, as well as, assist in decreasing the symptoms of Autism that may impact their day to day lives in order to ensure they can live more meaningful lives. Ashley also believes in the value of collaboration with parents and other providers to ensure a well rounded and cohesive treatment for her clients.
On her off time, Ashley likes to craft and hang out with her family and friends.
Carley Humpherys MPH, RBT, CBT, CHES
Carley is currently a Registered Behavior Technician as well as a fieldwork student working on becoming a BCBA. Carley has an undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Science Education from Brigham Young University- Idaho and earned a Masters degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Community Health Education from Concordia University and is currently working on a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. Carley loves working with children and families and is excited to combine her education and passion for effective and compassionate care to serve children with an ASD diagnosis and their families.
Carley loves family, nature, and reading! When she’s not doing school work you can find her cheering for her kids at sporting events and hanging out with family and friends.
Danielle Mason MA, BCBA, LBA
Danielle Mason went to City University of Seattle for her BA, and received her MA in Behavior Analysis at Capella University. She specializes in working with children to young adults diagnosed with ASD. She is passionate about verbal behavior practice and trauma informed care when working with children as they progress into adolescents. Danielle strives to foster a supportive team based environment between herself, the behavior technicians and the family to reach the best outcome for all our clients.
On her off time, Danielle likes to garden, and spend time with her family.
Jake O’Rear MA, BCBA, LBA
Jake graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in cultural anthropology and psychology. He attended Florida Institute of Technology and earned his M.A. in professional behavior analysis. Jake has worked in the field of ABA since 2012 and specializes in teaching children and young adults diagnosed with ASD. Jake believes that all learners have the right to precise, effective, compassionate care and that all learners can reach amazing potential. He strives to ensure that our learners are given a powerful voice, treated with dignity and respect and that ABA should be the highlight of each learner's day!
In his free time, Jake loves to spend time with his wife and two children, playing in the garden, and exploring the wonders of the PNW!
Savannah Strawn MA, BCBA, LBA
Savannah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with four years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Savannah holds a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology.
Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral challenges. She is passionate about using evidence-based practices to improve the quality of life for her clients and families.
Savannah has extensive experience in conducting individualized assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, and providing training and supervision to other professionals in the field. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development by researching, attending conferences, and participating in other continuing education opportunities.
When she is not working, Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog, family, and friends. Savannah also is a wedding coordinator on the weekends. She is looking forward to expanding her clientele and continuing applying ABA concepts to increase independent life skills.
Holly Miller MS, BCBA, LBA
Holly Miller went to Central Washington University where she obtained her BA in Psychology and Communications before obtaining her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. She specializes in working with young children through adulthood diagnosed with ASD and related disabilities. Holly uses compassionate care to help make meaningful changes to the clients and families she works with. She believes that teaching small, successive skills can add up to make a big impact. She specifically loves working on shaping up functional communication to allow kids and adults to live more independent lives. Holly is committed to collaborating with families and other related service providers to ensure that meaningful change is consistent across environments.
When she’s not at work, Holly loves spending time at home with her two young kids and husband, in addition to hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest!
